Hello viewers! It’s twinklet05. Today, I am going to be reviewing the Liberty Science Center. The LSC is a really fun, cool, and educational place for kid to go to. Their attractions are always educational, and fun as well. For example, the Touch Tunnel. Although it’s a bit frightening for some people, I enjoyed crawling in the dark, and trying to find my way out of the pitch black tunnel. Crawling through the Touch Tunnel helps you realize that we rely on sight to move through the world. We enjoyed doing the lab experiments in Infection Connection, where we did an experiment on extracting DNA. The animals that they had in the Eat and be Eaten section were very interesting to look at. The Infinity Climber and the Pulseworks Motion Simulator are very fun. We also very much enjoyed watching the movie in their huge IMAX Dome Theater. The one that we watched was Robots, a movie all about humanoid robots. There were 2 traveling exhibits that were going on when we visited, a Sid the Science Kid exhibit and a Star Wars exhibit. They are both going to be in the LSC until February 15. We unfortunately did not get to check out the new ride, the Titanic attraction. You should definitely check out the LSC, located at 222 Jersey City Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ, 07305. Their hours are 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Tuesday – Friday and 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Saturday – Sunday, but they are closed Mondays. Special Presidents Weekend Hours are February 12 – 15; 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
